EED Reviews Budget Year Plan Performance Report with Leadership and Staff

EED (July 5, 2025) Ethiopian Enterprise Development (EED) has reviewed the 2017 Ethiopian fiscal year plan performance report with the organization’s leadership and employees.

While opening the meeting, the Director General of EED, Alebachew Nigusse (PHD), stated that the institution has carried out several activities during the budget year to support the establishment and strengthening of small and medium manufacturing enterprises. These efforts aim to increase their numbers, build their capacities, and enable them to produce competitive products.

He also noted that although improvements were seen in executing the planned activities within the set timeframe during the fiscal year, more focus is needed in the upcoming budget year to ensure timely implementation of activities.

By addressing the shortcomings in the current fiscal year’s performance, he emphasized the importance of continuing with strengthened execution moving forward.

During the meeting, the performance report for the 2024/2025 (2017 E.C) budget year and the plan for 2018 E.C were presented and discussed.
