EED Leadership and Staff Discuss 7th General Election Performance and Post-Election Transition

The leadership and staff of Ethiopian Enterprise Development (EED) have held a comprehensive discussion focused on the execution of the 7th General Election and upcoming post-election activities.
Opening the discussion, Dr. Alebachew Nigussie, Director General of EED, noted that the 7th general national election was concluded successfully in a free, peaceful, and democratic manner. He highlighted that the public played an exemplary role in achieving this milestone.
The Director General emphasized that all stakeholders who contributed to the election process deserve recognition. He explained that the forum was organized both to express gratitude for the peaceful conclusion of the elections and to deliberate on the civic responsibilities expected of every citizen and EED employee during the interim period leading up to the official announcement of election results and the formation of the new government.
Mr. Abdulfetah Yusuf, Deputy Director General of EED, presented a discussion paper at the forum titled “From Election Victory to a Strong Government.” The document served as a baseline to review the operational performance of the 7th General Election and outline key post-election tasks moving forward.
