Ethiopian Enterprise Development Holds Consultative Meeting on Existing Business Process Study
EED (October 16, 2026 / Tikmt 6, 2019 E.C.) — Ethiopian Enterprise Development conducted a comprehensive consultative meeting with executive management members and middle-level leadership to review the study on existing business processes (AS-IS), aimed at enhancing its capacity to deliver knowledge-based and efficient public services.

During the consultation held at the institution’s conference hall, a detailed presentation on the AS-IS business process flow study was delivered, followed by an extensive discussion among participants.

It was noted that the primary objective of the study is to thoroughly analyze EED’s core operational areas, workflows, and service delivery systems to gain a clear understanding of current practices. Furthermore, the study aims to identify existing operational procedures in detail, laying a solid foundation for designing a future streamlined, modern, and effective business process framework (TO-BE).

The meeting was attended by unit heads—starting from team leaders—and executive officials. Constructive comments and valuable recommendations put forward by the participants will be incorporated as essential inputs to further enrich and refine the study.

Ethiopian Enterprise Development will continue to strengthen its institutional reform initiatives to modernize and streamline support services provided to enterprises, focusing on boosting productivity, accelerating technology transfer, facilitating market linkages, and expanding import substitution and export products.
