EED is currently providing training to federal and regional professionals supporting the Manufacturing SMEs sector.
The Small and Medium Enterprise Finance Project, Ethiopian Enterprise Development (EED) in collaboration with the Consul consultancy is providing capacity-building training to federal and regional experts who support the Manufacturing sector.

Opening the training, Mr. Paulos Berga, Deputy Director General of EED, emphasized that to establish a globally competitive small and medium manufacturing sector, we must develop qualified and competitive professionals.
He further stated that the training was designed based on identified skill gaps and the interest levels of professionals, making their contribution effective and practical.
Mr. Paulos added that addressing challenges in the production sector requires evidence-based approaches and the preparation of well-researched documents.
Mr. Pawlos stated that transforming identified opportunities into practical results and providing strong support to enterprises is crucial for strengthening their competitiveness.

Key training topics include: business plan preparation, value chain development, financial service partnerships, business development skills, strategic collaboration, and organizational structuring of stakeholders.
These training modules aim to enhance the effectiveness of support provided to enterprises and contribute to building a more resilient and competitive production sector.
