
EED Earns Top Rank in Ministry’s Annual Evaluation
Addis Ababa, July 25, 2017 E.C. — The Ethiopian Enterprise Development (EED) has secured first place in the 2017 Ethiopian fiscal year annual performance assessment conducted by the Ministry of Industry.

The evaluation, which reviewed supervised institutions, was based on key indicators such as institutional performance, organizational systems and structure, and progress made in advancing the national Ethiopia Tamrit initiative. EED emerged as the top-performing institution and was recognized with a medal, trophy, certificate, and a laptop award.

During the award ceremony, EED Director General Dr. Alebachew Nigussie stated that the success was made possible through the joint efforts of all leaders, employees, and stakeholders. He expressed gratitude to everyone who contributed to this result.
“This achievement reflects our institution’s commitment to excellence and national development goals,” Dr. Alebachew remarked, adding that the recognition will inspire the institution to maintain and improve its performance in the future.

He also emphasized that EED will continue to enhance its support for small and medium manufacturing enterprises, helping to fulfill its national mandate with measurable impact.
