EED Leaders Engage in Tree Planting at Sojat Industrial Park
Werabe City, Silte Zone, Central Ethiopia Region – August 19, 2025
Leaders of the Ethiopian Enterprise Development (EED) have carried out a tree planting initiative at Sojat Industrial Park in Werabe City under the national motto Renewal through Planting.”
In addition to the tree planting program, the delegation—which included senior and mid-level leadership—visited the Sojat Industrial Park, a large-scale development covering 1,000 hectares.
The event brought together EED leadership alongside top leaders from the Silte Zone and Werabe City administrations, reflecting a strong partnership in advancing industrial and environmental development efforts.
This activity forms part of Ethiopia’s Green Legacy Initiative, which was officially launched on June 27, 2025, by H.E. Prime Minister Dr. Abiy Ahmed under the guiding theme Renewal through Planting.”
